I am so glad you posted this redrock.Good idea to post it ahead of time so people can make plans to visit the VA and Vets and parades and thank s VET.

Also oh shoot I wish I knew how to make the letter larger. But there is this too.

Many of the VA hospitals will let you take some of the Vets there for an outing. To eat or a movie or to your home for a nice home cooked meal . It is wonderful and special friendships can be made too.

Then there are the Parades, Patriotic picnic's, taking groceries to needy vets that are shut-ins.

There are so many things and so many ways to say thank you and MEAN IT !

The Quantico Young Marines will be at the Quantico National Cemetery to set up for the ceremonies & support our veterans.

Marine Corps Base Quantico will provide ceremonial support to the Potomac Region Veterans Council for its Veterans Day Ceremony at Quantico National Ceremony, Nov. 11 at 11 a.m.

MCB Quantico Commanding General, BGen. Joseph Composto, will provide opening remarks for the guest speaker, LtCol. Robin Higgins, USMC (Ret.), and the Quantico Marine Band will provide ceremonial music. In addition, the Base Ceremonial Platoon will provide a color guard and firing detail. All Marines, Sailors, civilian employees and family members are encouraged to attend the event.
