Sound like the guy was a nut--and a dangerous one. Let's save our tears for those who deserve them--like the NYPD and FDNY.

You know, when the police say to put your hands up, YOU PUT YOUR HANDS UP. You want to make a point, make it in court.

Why dont you go to his site and read the info that this so called Nut has to say on events that are affecting our lives TODAY. Much of what he has said in the past has come true. I would put his record up against any lamestream presstitute source any day of the year. Sleep little one, you really have not the love for truth....

Cooper went out the way he said he would.

Many have wanted to debunk Bill Cooper, but I think he was a brave man. Sorry he had to go out like this. Sorry he had to go out. Read Behold A Pale Horse, and it figures.

Whom clinton described as the "most dangerous radio show host in America" in a White House memo.

You know, when the police say to put your hands up, YOU PUT YOUR HANDS UP. You want to make a point, make it in court.Jesus put up his hands and went to court and was crucified.
Our founding fathers went to court and parliment and when that did not work they formed a new nation.
It is a hard choice to make in deciding when there is no choice but to fight and if that fight is the right or moral choice to make. Collective people like you fail to realize that under our constitution William was right and strictly going by the law the present government and law enforcement are enforcing tax law and code that is not allowed by any article of law within the constitution.
That is the simple truth and a few men have stepped up to the plate to say "No more..." You can call them misguided patriots or Don Quihote battling a windmill but they are dieng on principal and are not nut cases. The income tax should be replaced solely by tarrifs and sales taxes which are the only ones presently allowed under the constitution.

(also to OrderoftheGarter) Anyone dumb enough to pull a gun on a cop deserves what he gets. I have no sympathy and doubt he will be missed by the gene pool.

In Loving Memory
With a deep sense of loss and mourning we announce the passing of William Cooper.
It appears at this time to be totally unrelated to the disputes he had with the federal government. All we know at this time is that he was shot and killed by an Apache County Sheriff around 12:15 AM this morning while serving of an arrest warrant on a local issue. A sheriff was also wounded.
Remain Calm! This is in no way a cause for action, but all patriots should be on high alert at this time.
Do NOT listen to or spread undocumented and unconfirmed RUMORS! If it is not here it is not confirmed as fact. Updates will be posted here as they become available.
We MUST all remember his love of freedom, America, the Constitution and the values it is founded on.

Have any of you read the constitution? Realy? Recently? Thoroughly? Can you show me where an income tax is allowed or legal from a constitutional governemntal standpoint? What article and section?

I hate to hear about things like this happening. Largely because one side or the other invariably gets some of the "facts" wrong, and the whole thing gets blown out of proportion.
Although I abhor heavy handed tactics by law enforcement, I also tend to not have lots of sympathy for those that die in an armed standoff when law enforcement is serving lawful arrest warrants. You got a problem with the warrant, that's what the legal system is for. Mr. Cooper had legal options available to him from the beginning. Since the thread stated he refused to pay taxes for several years, he's had an extend period of time to resolve this prior to this attempted apprehension.
I don't know any details about the man or his "cause", merely what has been posted in this thread.
Before passing judgement on the Sheriffs office, or government (local, state or federal), I'd prefer to see more solid facts. Although this is said to be what was told by the Sheriff's department, the wording is such that this also wasn't a press release, or in the Sheriff's departments words.
My thoughts go out to his family.

and what gene pool are you referring to...
the Statist Facist Loving-Stoopidbox watching-BeerGuzzling-AcadamiaEntrenched Liberal pukes that you probably belong to...or one who puts the Constitution first and foremost as well as His love of country like Mr Cooper did. Dude you are a pendejo, and you would not be missed, but mr cooper will surely be missed by lovers of the TRUTH...
