Sheriff's Deputy Shot; Suspect Killed

A sheriff's deputy in eastern Arizona is hospitalized in critical condition after being shot while trying to arrest a suspect. The suspect was in turn shot and killed.

The confrontation occurred in the town of Eager around midnight.

Department of Public Safety spokesman Officer Steve Volden says the Apache County sheriff's deputy was shot twice in the head. He was airlifted to a Phoenix hospital.

His name wasn't immediately released.

Volden says the deputy was among several officers who were attempting to arrest 58-year-old William Milton Cooper of Eagar.

Volden says Cooper had been armed with a handgun. He says details of the shooting will be released later at a news conference. DPS was called in to investigating the shooting.

--didn't the blackboxes recovered all turn out to be 'too damaged to be useful"? I apologise if my memory is faulty, but that is what I think I remember now about the four planes. Still never found out about the 5th plane the networks kept reporting on.

"too damaged to be useful" was the last word I heard about the boxes too. Doesn't it seem too convenient that some of the most critical evidence in these governmment debacles ends up missing. Remember the Waco compound FRONT DOOR with all the bullet holes? Worse than that is the seemingly deliberate avoidance of gathering critical evidence (the Feds call it "sloppy" police work thereby establishing a defense of "plausible deniability") on the part of the FBI in the OKC, TWA 800, and WTC #1 investigations.

You would be amazed what one of them said.

I can imagine FBI, CIA, DOJ burnouts, waiting for their pensions, being assigned to monitor the 'patriot' fringe. Maybe they arent such bad folks. They are just doing their job--workin' for the NWO.

Unfortunately they flood this board with crap articles about Hillary or something. Then (posing as conservatives) they ridicule and confuse, leaving lesser informed conservatives wondering about themselves. And you are right--they work in teams. Pretty easy to spot. BTW--please do tell what one of them said.

And anyone who's read his books knows what he thinks about "aliens." So many of the posts and articles from the past 48 hours have said he believed in flying objects from "outter space." Anything to make him a nut case.

I really love the internet! This William Cooper is certifiable. There was a period in his life when little gray men were commonplace.

"Later in 1954 the race of large nosed Gray Aliens which hadc been orbiting the Earth landed at Holloman Air Force Base. A basic agreement was reached. This ra-ce identified themselves as originating from a planet around a red star in the Constellation of Orion which we call Betelgeuse. They stated that their planet was dying and at some unknown future time they would no longer be able to survive there. This led to a second landing at Edwards Air Force Base. The historical event had been planned in advance and the details of the treaty had been agreed upon. Eisenhower arranged to be in Palm Springs on vacation. On the appointed day the President was spirited away to the base and the excuse was given to the press that he was visiting a dentist.

"President Eisenhower met with the aliens and a formal treaty between the Alien Nation and the United States of America was signed. We then received our first Alien Ambassador from outer space. His name and title was His "Omnipotent Highn-ess Krlll", pronounced Krill. In the American tradition of disdain for royal titles, he was secretly called "Orignal Hostage Krlll". You should know that the alien flag is known as the "Trilateral Insignia". It is displayed on their craftand their uniforms. Both of these landings and the second meeting were filmed. The films exist today."

For my money Ron Hubbard is far more convincing, but kudos to Cooper for having a loyal following!

"The events at Fatima in the early part of the century were scrutinized. On suspicion that it was alien manipulation, an intelligence operation was put into motion to penetrate the secrecy surrounding the event. The United States utilized its Vatican moles that had been recruited and nutured during WWII and soon obtained the entire Vatican study which included the prophecy. This prophecy stated that if man did not turn from evil and place himself at the feet of Christ the planet would self-destruct and the events described in the book of Revelations would indeed come to pass. It stated that a child would be born who would unite the world with a plan for world peace and a false religion beginning in 1992. By 1995 the people would discern that he was evil and was indeed the Anti-Christ. World War III would begin in the Middle East in 1995 with an invasion of Israel by a United Arab nation using coventional weapons which would culminate in a nuclear holocaust in the year 1999. Between 1999 and 2003 most of the life on this planet would suffer horribly and die as a result. The return of Christ would occure in the year 2011."

"...The ruling powers decided that one means of funding the alien connected and other black market projects was to corner the illegal drug market. A young ambitious member of the Council on Foreign Relations was approached. His name is George Bush who at the time was president and C.E.O. of Zapata Oil based in Texas. Zapata Oil was experimenting with the new technology of offshore drilling. It was correctly thought that the drugs could be shipped from South America to the offshore platforms by fishing boat where it would be taken to shore by the normal transportation used for supplies and personnel. By this method no customs or law enforcement agency would subject the cargo to search. George Bush agreed to help and organized the operation in conjunction with the CIA."

"...A similar program in the Soviet Union served the same purpose. In face a joint alien,United States, and Soviet Union base already existed on the moon at the very moment Kennedy spoke the words. OnMay 22, 1962 a space probe landed on Mars and confirmed the existence of an environment which could support life. Not long afterward the construction of a colony on the planet Mars began in earnest. Today cities exist on Mars populated by specifically selected people from different cultures and occupations takenfrom all over the Earth. A public charade of antagonism between the Soviet Union and the United States has been maintained over all these years in order to fund projects in the name of National Defense when in fact we are the closest allies."

"...The media, radio, newspapers, TV, and computer networks will be nationalized and seized. Anyone who resists will be taken or killed. This entire operation was rehearsed by the government and military in 1984 under the code name REX-84 and it went off without a hitch. When these events have transpired the SECRET GOVERNMENT and/or ALIEN takeover will be complete. Your freedom will never be returned and you will livein slavery for the remainder of your life. You had better wake up and you had better do it now."

"...Throughout our history the Aliens have manipulated and/or ruled the human race through various secret societies, religion, magic, witchcraft, and the occult. The Council on Foreign Relations and the Trilaterial Commission are in complete control of the alien techonology and are also in complete control of the nation's economy. Eisenhower was the last president to know the entire overview of the alien problem. Succeeding presidents were told only what MJ-12 and the Intelligence Community wanted them to know and belive me, it was not the truth."

"...As if that is not enough many people end up as food for the insatiable alien appetite for biological enzymes, glandular hormonal secretions, and blood. Many people are abducted and are sentenced to live with psychological and physical damage for the rest of their lives. In the documents I saw, 1 in 40 humans have been implanted with devices the purpose of which I have never discovered."

"...I have brought you the truth as I know it. I do not care what you think of me. I have done my duty and no matter what fate lies in store for me, I can truly meet my maker with a clear conscience. I belive first in God. The same God my ancesters belived in. I belive in Jesus Christ and that he is my Savior. I belive second in the Constitution of the United States of America as it was written and meant to work. I have given my oath to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States of America against all enemies foreign and DOMESTIC, I intend to fulfill that oath."

Thank You

I have had a 20-year friendship with a college roomate who has spent his adult life living and working in DC. He started out working for a liberal think tank, moved into mid-level Whitehouse position in Clinton's first admin and now is working for a well known new-age buisness consultant/writer. Needless to say, he is moderately successful and definitely placeable on the left of most issues.

From the early 80's through (and including) the first Clinton administration, he claimed to be visited yearly by alien abductors. He would speak to me about it when I questioned him... and I was careful not to mock him. I don't think I was ever convinced... but it was crystal clear to me that he was convinced.

When he left the Whitehouse job, he refused to talk about the abductions ever again. To this day, he simply refuses to talk about it.

He once offered me some physical evidence of a visitation/abduction, but I found it overwhelmingly dismissable. I tried to keep an open mind, but ultimately, I have to conclude that in his case, it may well be hallucinatory.

I stress that he is not a half-witted bum. He is by most people's measures successful. I suspect there are quite a few people out there who believe they have been abducted by aliens.

If militia types are behind the anthrax plantings, that should be primae facia evidence of a link between Al Queda and the so called right wing nuts, being the anthrax was sent before 9-11, and mentioned the attack date. Now the teachers of McVeigh, may be in bed with the perpetrators of the WTC bombings, maybe even link Osama Bin Laden with OKC.
Wow! that's some wishful thinking on your part!

Let me break the news to you militia haters in the room...

The only "extremist group" ever to have used anthrax in a homegrown attack was the ALF which stands for the Animal Liberation front.

Yes Virginia, that IS a LEFT_WING radical group not a right wing group!

And a quick question for everyone. What was the crime committed by the people at Waco that brought the governments wrath down upon them??? Did they kill anyone? Did they burn any buildings down? Did they perhaps use anthrax on civilians? No, No, No, what exactly was the crime and why haven't the ATF or FBI raided the leftist groups like the ALF or ELF that routinely firebomb warehouses, spike trees in hopes of killing lumberjacks and have in FACT used biological agents within their anarchist animal/earth loving frenzy??? Why oh why have these groups not been smashed by tanks and burned to the ground? And why did the Branch Davidians get their treatment instead?

I'm just curious but what is it that makes people like you hate the militias so?

A quick question. Can anyone post any article dated before Clintoons term in office that portrays militias in the anti-government role that Clintoon painted them in??? I can't remmeber hearing any of this anti-militia bS before Clintoon arrived in the White House... I'm serious and admit that I may be wrong but I cannot recall ever hearing a story portrayign militias liek this before Clintoon appeared on the scene.

BTW: I'm not defending this Cooper guy I've never even heard of him before but this anti-militia blame the right-wing crowd needs to answer the above questions.

Thanks in advance for any real replies. I know that I could be wrong about the Clintoon/anti-militia movement that's why I asked. If so then please post articles dated before his first term in office.

thanks again!

The Southern Poverty Law Clinic dates the fingering of the "Patriot" movement to 1994...

link

In 1981, in response to the resurgence of the Ku Klux Klan, the Southern Poverty Law Center began to monitor hate activity. Today, the Center's Intelligence Project tracks the activities of more than 600 racist and neo-Nazi groups. In 1994, after uncovering links between white supremacist organizations and elements of the emerging antigovernment "Patriot" movement, the Center expanded its monitoring operation to include the activities of militias and other extremist antigovernment groups. Six months before the Oklahoma City bombing, the Center warned the U.S. Attorney General that the new mixture of armed militia groups and those who hate was a recipe for disaster. At the peak of the Patriot movement in the mid-1990s, the Center tracked more than 800 militia-like Patriot groups. Today, that number has dwindled to fewer than 200.

I certainly agree with you that many successful and rather normal people have alien encounters. But for William Cooper it was an industry, he made money from it. After a falling out over intellectual capital, it appears that Cooper changed his story. He was able to host a radio show and in addition to his renewed faith in Jesus, he sought to clear his "misunderstanding" about alien conspiracy.

If you have read any of the links on this thread, curiously, many are blocked or removed for some reason, read this one. I think that such a reversal of alien knowledge has a financial basis, but I simply find the whole thing entertaining.

The man is dead. Certainly a tragedy. I do not belittle anything about him, I just read. I am really curious to discover what others consider as the reasons Cooper was killed. I enjoy reading things like this and at the same time I am regretful that I learned about this all after his death.

The "no such thing as aliens" confession, MAJESTYTWELVE

Updated account from someone who saw the infamous Lear-Cooper falling-out as it happened:

Actually, he U-turned about the aliens after William Lear and another "ufologist" made up some stuff on an alien being named "O.H. Krill," and were about to announce it on TV with Cooper there, and Bill Cooper said, "Yes, it was in all those documents I read at CINCPACFLT headquarters." Lear yanked Cooper aside and said, "Bill, this is a JOKE!"

Cooper got hostile and INSISTED that Krill wasn't a joke. Destroyed his own credibility right then and there.

There's one other reason: each Command Master Chief unloading a "problem child" onto some other Command Master Chief.

Nine times?? No. If he were that much of a problem child, he'd have been booted out. Twice I can see. Nine? No. I doubt that.

#443 Why sure that agent told you. Just today, an agent told me about all the conspiracy theorists here on FR. Yes, sure.

Look, if someone told you he/she is an agent, you can believe he/she isn't. Posters who are called "shills", aren't either.

Either you are too young to know, or too gullible, but let me tell you a fact, neither agents nor shills make themselves as obvious as you wish. Makes for a good post, eh?

"Yeah, well, I may not know Cooper, but I’ll bet I’m the only guy on this thread who has spent nights in Show Low and Springerville"
... Not so neighbor. Mom lived right down the hill from Mr. Cooper in Eagar. Right near 5th & Main. I believe the man is getting a bad rap too. But it helps the sheep sleep easy at nights this way ;-)

No, I do not want to retract my statement.

What piqued my interest in this thread was that some posters claim, "No, he does not believe in aliens". And some said "Yes, he does believe in aliens and has published a great volume of material". Well, guess what?? They are both right!!

What I find amazing is that so many are selective and deny to accredit both Cooper personalities. If Cooper lived in a past life he would be the perfect traveling medicine man with an elixir for anything that ails you. The question you must answer is would he be good because he believed the elixirs worked, or because he wanted to sell elixirs?

Looking at what I have read, it still seems that the answer is both! Which makes him in my mind, certifiable.

The man is dead. No matter how it happened it is regretable. I for one have read a lot of his stuff on the net in the last two days. I find it entertaining that he runs with the same passion and clarity in his "discoveries" no matter what thesis he projects, "yes there are aliens" or "no your government wants you to think there are aliens". Add to that the mystery of tax evasion, lawsuits, threats on his life, him threatening other lives, and you have a very complex man. I for one would really like to know what others think.

I say he is certifiable. But, I have been wrong before. If you know better, convince me. If saying that he is certifiable is belittleing Cooper, guilty as charged. But all I do is read and for that I make no retraction.

William Lear, just by himself, ain't credible. William Lear, with his associate who helped create the bogus document, with a signed and notarized document from his lawyer attesting to the origin of the "O.H. Krill" document (they made it up in the lawyer's office), AND taking some serious steps during the videotaping of a TV show to save Bill Cooper from major embarrassment...yeah, that's a wee bit more credible than Bill Cooper's sudden about-face for no readily discernable reason.

Bill Cooper had a habit of simply repeating what known UFO charlatans were saying as Gospel Truth, based on his alleged knowledge of "classified intelligence documents." He got caught in a major blooper as a result. End of story.
