Micky Lolich did it in 1968 and I think (not sure) Bob Gibson did it against the Yanks in 1964. It's been done a few times -- but I don't think anyone has ever won both game 6 and game 7 before. Schilling and the Unit are like Viola/Blyleven gone nuclear.

The Yanks lost because of sorry, sorry hitting. They could not hit a barn with a canoe paddle. Just look at their offense for the series.

Thanks for the info Scott. I tried to find the answer on MLB's Worldseries.com site. Unfortunately, its filled with lots of player stats, but none from the world series. lol
