President Mbeki has given countless speeches claiming that he does not believe HIV causes AIDS.

The failure to combat AIDS in Africa permeates every level of African society.

How can African nations stop the spread of AIDS when their own leaders and their own witchdoctors, sorry, “traditional healers”, tell them that HIV does not cause AIDS and having sex with virgins will cure you of AIDS?
