Here is the official thread! I am posting from RADIO FR GROUND ZERO: ANNAZ's house. Post all comments here!!!!!! Call in at 1-866-RADIOFR
I believe I caught a thread that mentioned you had a disability. I have a similar problem.(not in the bed but can't move around much without aids) I have found the computer a nice hobby to keep my mind active and alive. My problem is permanent and progressive. I don't like it and am having a difficult time adjusting. There are some things that are difficult to accept. I suppose that I will in time.
Can't wait for your next show, you ladies are FEISTY!!
We are supposed to be in modern times, an enlightened and educated world and yet even the "moderate" Islamic states are 200 years behind the times with respect to personal liberties etc.
It troubles me how they treat their own people.
ROTFLMAO! You need a radio show;-)
Sorry so slow in responding! Yep, potlucks were quite the rage! We had a really great event -- once a year in the fall -- for members of the "Wesley Weds" Sunday School class and families. My parents were in that class. (This was when we were living in Galva, Illinois -- what I still consider my hometown.) We had a huge bonfire, weenie roast, and hayride every year on the Warner farm! (My aunt married a Warner, who also has a farm [EIEIO! *G*], but this was at his brother's farm!) (Teeny Town, USA! Small Swedish farming community; Dad is Swedish.)
Yup, disabled and bedridden. Hopefully only temporarily. At the very least, we're hoping my next brain surgery will get me out of this stupid bed. I didn't start out here, but got progressively worse, and ended up here. Severe bodywide pain, God-awful headaches every day, and neurological problems, all of which become worse in time. (Much is medicated.) Right now, I have coordination problems from -- a very hot place(!), nystagmus (causing blurred, fuzzy eyesight and inability to focus), so I tend to walk into walls, have "drop attacks" and hit the floor (that's a neurological leg thing), and have fallen down the stairs twice (thus one reason for being banished to bed), and other lovely things happening.
The surgery may be highly succssful and I'm holding onto hope. However, there may be permanent neurological damage, which we won't be able to properly assess until at least a year after my next brain surgery (complete removal of cerebellar tonsils). I am keeping a positive attitude, and plan to be out of this bed! I have a fairly uncommon condition, known as Arnold-Chiari malformation. Hard to explain, but can be found -- http://www.pressenter.com/~wacma and http://www.chiari.com and http://www.asap4sm.com
Any time you want a shoulder to cry on, feel free to FReepmail me. Up until recently, I led a group a the church for people with chronic pain and/or chronic illness. There are many issues surrounding those, as you may well know! I'm looking to take it online, until I can get back to leading it in person again. (It's called "Hopekeepers," and is part of Rest Ministries, Inc., which is online.)
NO more depressing talk! But do FReepmail me, if you'd like!!
God bless you! ;-}
Wait till they start a TV show :)
Why not Fox 10:00 Monday thru Friday
From God's lips to your ears.
