Sorry, you are wrong.

The carriers and subs are north of the bridge, (important but few), all of the destroyers, cruisers and amphibs are south of it.

I recall a news item last year that the sub pens here in San Diego are empty and unused.

I was wrong on the ships other than carriers, that is correct .. as I stated in my reply to someone else ...

Please note the part about the floating bridge sections. No way that taking out the Coronado bridge would block the water traffic ... the bridge traffic, yes, but not the ship traffic.

Ships are the more massive battering ram, of the two choices.
