Not even stalwart NATO ally Turkey escaped the network. Areas beyond government control were also visited by bin Laden in 1996 according to London-based Jane's Intelligence Review.Bin Laden In Turkey Twice-turkishpress.com Records show that Osama Bin Laden, the prime suspect in the terrorist attacks against the US last week, visited Turkey in 1996 and 1998. This visit also had a stop over in Adana before flying to Istanbul.
aristeides comments from the above posted link are as follows:
bin Laden was already on Interpol's wanted list in 1996? Well, well, well! According to Richard Labeviere's Dollars for Terror, bin Laden had no trouble landing his private jet at London's Heathrow Airport in Oct. 1997. He then attended a meeting at the house of the spokesman of bin Laden front ARC at 94 Dewsbury Rd., Wembley, London on Oct. 10, 1997, where the order was given for the massacre at Luxor that took place on Nov. 17, 1997.
By the way, the headquarters of the Turkish intelligence service is right outside Adana.

Furthermore, as revealed in the February 2001 East Africa bombing trial testimony of Jamal al Fadl -- an al Qaeda operative in charge of weapons development in Sudan -- uranium used in "dirty bombs" that release lethal radioactive material, had been tested in 1994 by members of the Sudan-based Islamic National Front in the town of Hilat Koko, in Turkish-held northern Cyprus. The Turks have thousands of occupation troops in Northern Cyprus.

Thanks for the great post...Far from committing "genocide" (approximately 1000 dead in Kosovo over two years prior to the NATO war), the Serbs were doing exactly what we are doing now - going after Muslim terrorists who hid in civilian areas. Just think if Clinton and the irreparably stupid Allbright had spent the kind of effort in Kosovo to deal with Bin Laden.
The depraved scumbag even floated rumors of Serb terrorism in the US during his scummy little war. Never happened of course...

Without a doubt Clinton was bombing the wrong people in the Balkans.
After all,it wasn't the Serbs who flew the planes on 9-11,it was the KLA's bosom buddies in Al Qaeda.
