I'll let your number stand. I tried searching for the FR post I was reading yesterday that placed the number at 66 million but I couldn't find it. Since I can't come up with the back-up I'll let your number stand.
Based on your number, you now need to come up with 25-30 million people killed in the name of G-d (or Christ - I can't remember which you were claiming). Let's make it easy. Find just 25 million. Keep in mind how many 1,000 or 10,000 or 100,000 person butcheries have to occur before you come up with 25 million.
Start counting.
Shalom.

I find that number unreasonable. Do you have any data?

Are you saying if these Blacks knew the truth it would make a difference in their choice of lifestyle?(rhetorically speaking)
I don't believe it would.(opinion)
The famed Salladin also killed far more of his fellow Muslims than he did Christians.

Words like "must" give your lack of support away. There is a prejudicial tendency to make assumptions. But you need data. There are 800 million Catholics alone in the world today. Does that mean large numbers of deaths due to Catholic beliefs? You can't make that claim. You need data.
I'll check out Amnesty International.

Bear in mind that our Lord's patience means salvation, just as our dear brother Paul also wrote you with the wisdom that God gave him. He writes the same way in all his letters, speaking in them of these matters. His letters contain some things that are hard to understand, which ignorant and unstable people distort, as they do the other Scriptures, to their own destruction. Therefore, dear friends, since you already know this, be on your guard so that you may not be carried away by the error of lawless men...
-- II Peter 3:15-17St. Peter made it clear that the Apostle Paul's letters are "Scripture". He also declared that Paul's writings are "distorted" by "unstable people". Frankly, I'll take St. Peter's word anyday, over some guy who is experiencing "inner struggles" and calls himself "James3".
