By god, after reading that speech, I want to go conquer the Germans all over again.
They just don't make Generals like they used to, unfortunately.

Curtis Lemay was the Air Force "Patton" . Most people don't realize how we bluffed Russia in the cold war. But we wern't bluffing and I am sure this helped avoid ww3 at that time. I am an admirer of Patton as well as Lemay. Russia knew they would have been knocked back into the stone age if they had attacked or had provoked an attack from the Strategic Air Command. Very few people ever comprehended what we were doing in SAC.
