Good reply. Although I don't agree with much of what you say, I do however, find much of you commentary, thought provoking. I have never used the abuse button because if I don't like what a person is posting, I merely ignore them.

I do follow your input and find some of it valid and thought provoking. Sometimes you do come across like a traitor to our country, which lights me up.

I deeply love my country, my friend. I have spent many years abroad, however, and have seen very close-up what disaster our foreign interventionism after the Cold War has been. I was a Cold Warrior, but the world has changed. Those who make money from international meddling have not changed, however, and now our great men and women in the armed forces have been expected to bail these people out. We are sadly reaping what we have sown for the past 12 years at least.

I want us to find and destroy those who attacked us. But I don't support a war on impoverished peasants and a country that is already in the stone age. Those who attacked us were wealthy Saudis and Egyptians. That is proven. I do not support the mindless bombing of a people who did not do this to us. Perhaps for no other reason than by so doing, we are making millions MORE enemies than we already had. Do we need more of them?

Thanks for your civilized post. We don't always have to agree.
