Let's asume what you're saying is true. Why would Bin Laden, who has a net worth of $300 million, care about American wealth? He probably could have immigrated here and lived an elite-level American lifestyle. If he (and his henchman) were so jealous, why didn't they do that? By the way, only wealthy people can build terrorist camps, pay $40,000 for flight schools in cash and do all these things without having employment. By your logic, since they were much wealthier than the average American they would'nt have attacked the U.S., since they have no need to be jealous of the U.S.

When you have wealth and an ego, that doesn't satify, the new goal is power, once total power is achieved the next goal to shoot for is worship of self by the masses, to me it's all the most evil desires of human nature.
