If both leaders were killed by the U.S., would the Taliban would want to divert credit from those kills and claim that their own men turned on them? If the Taliban turned on them, would they want to claim that the U.S. did it? Not that they are that media savvy, but the spin on their deaths would be important. Were they martyred or were they massacred?
Or are they just floating this story so that they can escape to new lives somewhere else?

good questions. I caveated this story because it was a single news source story, but from a generally trusted news outlet. good thing about Freepers are we can collectively put in thoughts and other snippets of information to see if things fit, or pass the 'smell test'.

"I know he's an old friend...but $50 MILLION DOLLARS!!!"
