Should Conservatives Support Rudeness? Why booing Senator Clinton is beneath us.
self

First of all, to prevent the flamings, I should say that I am a strong conservative, and my number one issue is the life issue and so I am not at all a supporter of the Clintons etc.

That being said, I thought it the height of rudeness for these firemen and policemen to boo and yell at the Senator this weekend. It lacked dignity and class. I thought we conservatives were supposed to stand for such things, or perhaps this is just what we say, but do not practice.

I wonder what Burke et al would have said about this conservative embrace of very questionable manners.

The policemen and firemen should have just done nothing when she appeared on stage, no clapping, no booing, the silence would have expressed the same thing, but in a much more dignified way.

Let's, see.

She called the cops murderers.

She made no apology for her delegates who spit on the police honor guard.

She gave no evidence of remorse or concern about the officer taken to the hospital after being jinjured by her limo.

It is silly to say that she was treated as if she were bin Laden. bin Laden would have been ripped into 5000 tiny pieces.

If her transgressions were so mild, would it be all right with you if we just call her a murderer, spit on her, and hit her with a limo?

Either you truly enjoy abuse or are one sick puppy. Your comments go from uneducated to inane.

You have provided me with some lively entertainment however. Can't tell you how many times I've said "Amen brother" to the posts on this thread.

For that entertainment....I thank you!

NYC elected an opportunistic carpetbagger... glad to see they have finally realized what she is. Calling a spade a spade is not rude.... running over a security guard trying to protect the public, because you think you are above all others... now THAT'S RUDE!

Yeah, but just reading that -- even as a hypothetical -- made my stomach clench like it was getting ready for The Big Hurl!

Sorry, but when opportunists such as the Clintons, dare to appear in front of the people they have jeered, mocked, slandered and brutalized for their own self-promotion, they risk being affronted and on the receiving end of rudeness.

While dignity and decorum are the general rule for polite society, this was a rock and roll concert and everyone behaved accordingly.

We note that there are no outcries that perhaps the performers were rude and objectionable in some of their behavior? Such as blatant political overtures. Besides, the audience was presented with DumpACrat propaganda in the visage of Clintons, DashMyHole, et al.That is enough to incite anyone to rudeness

Furthermore, Jesus himself refused to "play nice" at evil. He turned over the money-changer's tables, he didn't just site around and express some sort of BS silent disapproval you say is what we should do. You aren't worthy of beign called a Freeper.

Hang in there watsonfellow. There are still some conservatives who rise above rather than stoop.

Some of these posts sound like the Weather Underground talking about Nixon. Just substitute Hillary with Nixon and left with right.

I'm reading a new book on Nixon and it's funny how 30 years ago, Republicans were for "law and order" and "respect" and the left-wingers were booing and hissing and causing commotion. The more things change . . .

Cheers.

If we lived in a world where the Clintonites didn't have their sock puppets out to spin everything, perhaps your idea of silence would be effective. But let's be realistic here -- if the cops and firemen had been silent, it would have been spun as reverence, not contempt, for Hillary.

Absent the booing, the yahoos who WERE cheering would have been the only thing we saw or heard.

Pardon me....please don't start that scat about hyperbole and dark humor equalling threats to do harm. I was willing to respectfully acknowledge your opinion as reasonable; now I just think you're simple.
