Anthrax was discovered in an offsite mail screening facility for the White House on Tuesday and separately confirmed as the cause of death for two postal workers in the nation's capital, the latest bioterrorism victims.

In addition, a mail handler in New Jersey and two more postal workers in Washington were believed to be suffering from the disease.

It was interesting that during today's briefing, a black, female reporter repeatedly battered Ari with questions about why the White House told postal workers to go back to work while the Congress elected to go home. Her point was to accuse Bush of "racism". It was amazing.

Agree, saw the earlier briefing and the black female reporter was carrying the water of the postal union leadership. It was a combination of Bush vs Union, and Bush vs Blacks. Disgusting "journalism" if you ask me.

10-23) 14:10 PDT (AP) --

"There's no question that the evildoers are continuing to try to harm America and Americans," Bush said. "We're working hard to find out who's doing this and bring them to justice."

"The evil ones continue," he said.

He said there was still no hard evidence connecting the multiple anthrax cases to the Sept. 11 suicide-hijacking attacks, but he added, "There is no question the al-Qaida organization is a terrorist organization so it would not surprise me that they're involved in it."

He urged calm.

"This country is too strong to let terrorists affect the lives of our citizens," Bush said. "I understand that people are concerned, and they should be, but they need to know their government is doing everything we possible can to protect the lives of our citizens."
