Another strategy would be to keep the nominateds before the committee while making different EXTREMELY CONSERVATIVE recess appointments for THOSE SAME SEATS!
In other words, you'd do better to approve the nominees than have the recess appointees for very long at all.
Considering that their terms wouldn't expire until the
end of the next session W could just re-appoint them again.
Our founding fathers weren't stupid, but Dims would like for you to think so.
