Yeah, it was really great when Hillary was booed! But I don't understand - what has she done to change New York's mind about her? It has to be something she did alone since she was elected because Bill Clinton got a warm reception. Ideas? Could it be her reaction to Bush's speech or her vehicle crashing the security checkpoint? What has liberal New York so teed off about Hillary?

The cops and firemen, who made up that audience, didn't vote for Hillary. They may register and often vote for Dems, but they're culturally worlds apart from Hillary. Though many now live in civil service suburban enclaves like Farmingdale and Mineola, they represent the NYC of the past. Its ethnic Catholic heritage and its sense of service and duty. I taught from 1971 to 1984 in NYC Catholic Schools in neighborhoods like Ridgewood and Astoria. I can't begin to count how many of those kids were going up the stairs on 9/11. I know one who died and two who survived but lost friends, no. brothers. These men are not a part of the NY that voted for Hillary. One requirement for their vote, Democrat or Republican, is that the politician be a Patriot.

A long story short. No one really likes her in New York except for liberals but they have been cast aside since 911. Her down fall is one step at a time.
