The Question is what government did the anthrax originate from?

The Question is what government did the anthrax originate from?I'll give you a hint: The country's name starts with an I and ends with a raq.

Best guess: Iraq.
Slightly out-there guess: Russia (from "the yard sale at the end of history").
The imprecise language bothers me. What, exactly, is "military grade" anthrax? Any anthrax is bad news, last time I looked.

I went to Guardian website you cite and found this story (excerpt):
US: 'anthrax attacks could be homegrown' Staff and agencies Friday October 19, 2001 As a seventh American contracted anthrax today, investigators in the US said they are coming to the conclusion that homegrown terrorists are responsible for the spate of anthrax attacks, rather than Osama bin Laden's al-Qaida network

This morning on Fox, ex-UN weapons guru Scott Ritter said a right winged group did this and that this stuff was not "weapons grade" as he put it. So, what gives? Is Ritter full of it/himself or is the story wrong? I thought Tommie the Commie also reported it to be weapons grade?

This article sure makes a mockery of the statement I just heard on CNN by some bimbo who advised Judy Woof Woof to refrain from using the term "Military Grade" Anthrax because "there isn't a clear definition as to what that is"
Guess which news outlet hasn't yet received their Anthrax in the mail?
One hint, it starts with a C and ends with a NN.

OK, saw the definition in the article.
Drying and milling. Quick question: how hard is it to dry and mill something down to 1-5 microns? Any FReepers out there know this?
To: crystal55t
I should have added...I do not believe our government had any part in it ,unless it is a few of those moron democrats. But then why would they go after the head moron daschle? And their buddies in the media? It's hussein or bin laden.

That's ridiculous. Remember Atta had burns on his hands and filled an antibiotic prescription just before 911.
This is difficult enough without manufacturing home-grown villains. The NWO will not profit from this. No one will.

If this stuff is so potent and was obviously produced by a state, why didn't they bother to make it antibiotic resistant? If the process is that complicated, and they needed the right equipment and trained specialists, it would not have been too difficult to take the extra step and remove the one treatment that works.

Quick question: how hard is it to dry and mill something down to 1-5 microns? I think tobacco smoke falls in that range, but smoking anthrax may be hazardous to your health

And, on another thread, we see the beginnings of an urban legend that has Eric Rudolph responsible.

I heard a smart observation on the radio talk shows today. A caller expressed his opinion that if the terrorists had large quantities of anthrax, they'd be spraying it from planes over cities (or some other mass-contamination use) for maximum effect health-wise and disruption-wise.
But the fact that they're mailing tiny samples to a few news organizations implies that they're trying to get maximum effect (publicity-wise) out of their small stock.
This makes sense -- the terrorists are acting in the way they'd be forced to if they only had a small bit of anthrax powder to use, and wanted to make the most of it.

And, on another thread, we see the beginnings of an urban legend that has Eric Rudolph responsible. Why would Eric Robert Rudolph send the REAL anthrax to NBC, CBS and ABC, and send the FAKE anthrax to the abortion clinics? Not very well thought out, I'm afraid. (I understand it is not YOUR theory DM)
