When you right-click on a link (I am, of course, assuming you don't have a 1-button-mouse Mac, in which case I think the equivalent is holding down the mouse button), you do get the option to open the link in a new window. That's saved me countless times.

Yeah, I know, but that clutters up the screen with browsers (which Windoze 98 is allergic to, and reduces the time to the next therapeutic reboot). And then I get confused as to which is the "real" slave browser.

True. Sometimes I have the same problem remembering which window is which, though I don't leave Win 9x running longer than I have to (isn't exactly meant for a power user).
