Making changes to the Self-Search function, and in particular, how the database is organized in relation to Self-Search.
Self-Searches should now be lightning quick and should span many months. The current index holds about 6 months of data (all I have available.)

I, apparently, am part of a large ping group - I don't see my name on the post but I did get a "ping" on my self search..... I assume from your note (Jim) to 2ndmcbm - you wanted to know if this worked.... it does.....

Yes, that ability is coming in the new mail system. I haven't yet decided how far I'm going to take the new mail system, but I have at least one idea that I think everybody will really like... Should be coming along pretty soon. Send John coffee and chips! (o:

They are indexed, the system only prints the first 97 characters (or first line). I will add an option to print ALL names. Just think if there were a thousand names on the list? That would be one certain eyesore.Do we know a thousand people??*grin* Will that option be on the self search page? I like to keep tract of that stuff
