Judicial Watch: Clinton IRS Turned Blind Eye To Terrorists

While Bill Clinton's IRS pursued his personal enemies with great enthusiasm -- auditing Billy Dale, Gennifer Flowers, Paula Jones, Juanita Broaddrick and dozens more -- America's enemies, it seems, got a free pass from the same agency.

That's the claim from the legal watchdog group Judicial Watch, which has filed a complaint with IRS Commissioner, Clinton holdover Charles Rossotti, charging that Osama bin Laden's al Qaeda network, Hamas and others continue to use tax exempt U.S. based charities to bankroll terror unencumbered by even the hint of an audit.

At least 16 U.S.-based non-profit entities have been linked financially to bin Laden, the legal watchdog group says.

The decision not to investigate these groups is especially difficult to understand given that the information in the Judicial Watch complaint is hardly a state secret. On the contrary, the complaint is based largely on reports published over the last three years in venues like the New York Times.

One such questionable non-profit, the Islamic African Relief Agency (IARA), has been directly linked to earlier attacks on U.S. interests by bin Laden.

"IARA reportedly transferred money to Mercy International, another non-profit Muslim organization that purchased vehicles used by Osama bin Laden to bomb the U.S. embassies in both Kenya and Tanzania on August 8, 1998," the complaint notes.

Not only did Rossotti & Co. not investigate, that same year the Clinton State Department showered the IARA with $4.2 million in grants.

Other non-profits said by Judicial Watch to have ties to Hamas include:
The United Association for Studies and Research
Islamic Association for Palestine
North American Islamic Trust
The Islamic Relief Association
Muslim American Society
The Cultural Society
The Muslim Arab Youth Association
The Alaqsa Educational Fund
Council on American Islamic Relations
Islamic Society of North America
Islamic Circle of North America
American Middle Eastern League for Palestine >br>Quaranic Literacy Institute.

Though Judicial Watch doesn't say so, further investigation may lead to even closer to the Clintons' doorstep. For instance, Rossotti's decision to look the other way happens to coincide with a series of generous donations by Muslim non-profits to Hillary Clinton's Senate campaign?

In Boston -- the same city where two hijacked planes departed before slamming into the World Trade Center nearly two weeks ago -- Mrs. Clinton held a June 13, 2000 fund-raiser hosted by the American Muslim Alliance.

According to a report on the group's website, "The reception was attended by nearly 100 American Muslim leaders and activists."

As NewsMax.com reported at the time, candidate Clinton "clearly understood that her hosts were concerned that the U.S. war on terrorism might be too harsh."

In her speech, "Mrs. Clinton vowed to pursue fairness and justice in the issue of secret evidence and the Anti-Terrorism Act," the AMA Web site noted.

At the Boston event, the former first lady accepted a $1,000 contribution from Abdurahman Alamoudi, an official with the American Muslim Council who once vowed to eliminate Israel and had previously boasted, "We are the ones who went to the (Clinton) White House and defended what is called Hamas."

When Mrs. Clinton's campaign reported Alamoudi's American Muslim Council donation to the F.E.C., the AMC was camouflaged as the "American Museum Council."

Alamoudi had pledged his $1,000 at a fund-raiser held a month earlier at the Washington, D.C. mansion of Yasser Arafat crony Hani Masri -- a gathering Mrs. Clinton's campaign went to great lengths to conceal.

"The event, which sources said raised more than $50,000, was closed to the press, which wouldn't have known about the event anyway, since it wasn't listed on Mrs. Clinton's public schedule," the Jewish Forward reported at the time.

Sooner or later someone's bound to start asking: Was Mrs. Clinton's active fund-raising within the radical Islamic community behind the Clinton IRS's decision to take a pass on tax exempt groups with ties to terrorists?

I'm afraid the electorate shares a lot of the blame. I can't believe so many people couldn't see through this guy. But chalk it up to greed. He promised everyone everything, and they bought it, and all they got was a less secure country. Well, those who supported thid slimy character should look in a mirror and face the enemy who screwed our country.

Achille ......You cannot possibly be that ....oh what should I say here......that small minded to believe that women like Hillary Clinton and would vote for her.

So what am I a man????? LOL

I hate Hillary and Bill as well. It seems to me we women could say what is wrong with you guys that thought Bill was a good ole boy. ROTFL.....

My point is I think YOU could make whatever point you are desperately trying to make without attacking ALL women.

Attack the lesboz, the dykes, the N.O.W. group of men haters fine with me. They probably shave their chins in the morning right along with you . At least they act like it, tring to be men and hating men like they do.

Many of us girls would rather be dead then vote for either of the Clinton's.

Maybe you just have not had a hug in a long time .

Thanks for joining the fray. There are men are FR who are so insecure, so unendowed in every way, that the only way they can be taller is to step on a woman's neck. Maybe this should be a guild topic.

The last thing the conservative movement needs to be is fractured, yet these poor things hammer away at their limited issues, one of which is removing the right of women to vote. It's the main reason why I don't recommend FR to more people. I'm afraid they'd stumble across one of them and think we're all stupid.

On the other hand, I suppose we could pity these guys for never having the opportunity to meet smart women. Their world must be cold and dark.

Thanks for the kind words about NY, too. That's the other topic I have to defend from similar attacks from freepers who want to lump everyone together.

Call me any time you need support. Stereotypes infuriate me, and when they appear at FR, their intent is to divide us. I honestly think that "freepers" who bash Jews, New Yorkers, women, etc. are disruptors and I will follow them closely. They are democrats' best friends as they seek to divide us.

the "intelligent, normal women" are always the most attractive anyway. Gosh, thanks (blush), I'll bet you say that to all the girls.

It would be interesting to know why Judicial Watch made its initial decision to oppose President Bush back in September of las year.

Perhaps it was out of concern that the Bush administration was not going to do anything about the crimes committed by the Clinton's and DNC in Chinagate, Filegate, Emailgate, the death of Foster, the death of Brown, etc. etc. etc. ????

Which they haven't, have they?

Of course, as I recently learned in an exchange between the two of us, you don't think any crimes were committed, do you?

"Sorry I keep missing flags, Freeper friends."

You might as well be told now by those who love you, Cowgirl...but with popularity comes a modicum of resposibility.
Consider yourself as having been informed then. :o)

Now then, as for the...

"Jackson: Taliban Wants to Meet With Me.
Logan Act violation...
U.S. Code, Title 18
Sec. 953. Private correspondence with foreign governments...
"

That law applies only to white people; & white Americans specifically.
And you know that, too.
As an amatuer musician & consummate music lover, I've an appreciation & respect for my brothers & sisters most cannot (or will not) ever understand; so labeling my reaction as one based in a "racist" attitude would not only be unfair, it would be missing the abject truth of the matter.

-BTTT-...Love LK & his JD or hate 'em, ya gotta admit: JD's the ONLY one doing something about enforcing our LAWS.
