I don't think we need to ask for their opinion. We should fully utilize their airspace, if you know what I mean...
To: veronica, murrymom
Oh, Jimmy Carter is preparing a trip to Iran right now. Oh, he's already tried that.
To: veronica
We knew that answer before we asked .....waste of time to even ask IMHO. Just a matter of time before we have to deal with them too, might as well work the vermin all the way to the sea while were at it........
Stay Safe.

You are either with us or against us. Stand in line with Iraq. Who wants to be next?
To: veronica
Why is this not a surprise? If bin Laden chose to slip out of Afghanistan through Iran, all the while the Ayatollahs turning a blind eye as he makes his way to Iraq, then of course they could provide plenty of cover. Not that the Iranians were likely to give the US permission to overfly their airspace in any event.

Gee sure be ashamed if we loose some ordnance as we fly over.

Wrong answer.

Good. Maybe Powell's plan to get the terrorist states into the coalition to destroy terrorism will be sabotaged by the terrorist states themselves.

Good, because let there be no doubt, Iran is as guilty as Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria. I would have hated to see these suckers sneak from getting their "fair share" of America nuclear stockpile.
BOMBS AWAY!

Zactly! Do we need to ask if we use their airspace while bombs and missles fly off of our planes?
To: veronica
Iran Won't Let U.S. Use Airspace Right...as if they have any say in the matter.

Uh, don't we already control most of their airspace?
To: veronica
We owe Iran big time. They have been implicated in just about all the recent terrorist actions.
On September 11th I was hoping we would declare war and go after all of them in a massive WW II type effort.
Now it looks like more of the same. We will probably get Bin Laden and a few others but the countries really responsible for this will get off Scott free.

Oh, Jimmy Carter is preparing a trip to Iran right now. Oh, he's already tried that. Can you imagine Jimmy Carter going over there and acting as if there were a moral equivalance between the US and Osama bin Laden.

Now that I thought about it some more, Ramsey Clark probably would go on such a mission.
