I just woke up to find this on the television. Frankly I'm in shock! This is one hell of a time to have your military at it's lowest strength in 50 years.

Prepare for the possible onslaught of movies claiming this was masterminded by the military to increase defense spending. It seems ludicrous but it has been suggested before. Of course, they are full of crap, but that never seems to stop Hollywood. What a tragedy that it seems to me could have been averted or at least lessened by increasing defense. What does the money put into social programs look like in the light of disparaging of your very life?
