AS THE LIBS SEEM TO BE HOLDING THE ONCE GREAT STATE OF NY HOSTAGE, THEY HAVE A PLANNED PROTEST OF BUSH'S ADDRESS TO THE ANTI-AMERICAN UN GENERAL ASSEMBLY ON SEPTEMBER 24TH, AS A CONSERVATIVE I AM APPALLED AT THE DISRESPECT THE LIBS HAVE PORTRAYED AS OF LATE.
THEY HAVE SOLIDIFIED THERE TROOPS AND ARE ORGANIZING MANY PROTESTS TO UNDERMINE ANY CONSERVATIVE AGENDA. SO, SHOULD WE JUST SIT ON OUR HANDS AND PERMIT THEM TO LIE, CHEAT AND BAMBOOZLE THE VOTING PUBLIC INTO WHAT THEY THINK IS GOOD FOR AMERICA?
OR SHOULD WE BE OUT THERE IN FORCE, TELLING THE AMERICAN PEOPLE THE TRUTH ABOUT LIBERALISM AND HOW IT'S DESTROYING AMERICAN BIT BY BIT, DAY BY DAY?
LET'S GET SOMETHING GOING HERE, AND ANY AND ALL FREEPERS FROM EVERYWHERE TO JOIN US......WE MUST HAVE A LARGE SHOWING, THERE WILL BE ALOT OF PUBLICITY BECAUSE OF DUBYA'S APPEARANCE....IT'S A GREAT CHANCE FOR US TO SHOW THEM WHAT WE'RE MADE OF!
You are aware, aren't you, that all of those "protesters" were actually paid operatives of the Republican Party, most of them aides to GOP congressmen, who were flown to Florida, fed, housed, organized and ordered by the GOP to "shut the count down," while making it "look" like they were a group of outraged average citizens?
You did know that, right?
Cause it's true.
The trickiest part of that whole scam, Hidy, was the part where we used our powerful brain-waves to coerce the Miami-Dade canvassing board into taking all those ballots behind closed doors on another floor, in defiance of the Sunshine laws. If they hadn't stepped into that little trap, our "operatives" could never have shut the count down. There wouldn't have been any locked doors to bang on then, you see.
Those "operatives" were vote-counters, and nobody tried to pretend they were anything but that ('outraged average citizens' were outside that building, not inside). It's no secret that they were flown to Florida and given accomodations and meals. Do you call the Democrat vote-counters "paid operatives" as well? You can bet they weren't fasting and sleeping on the street last November.
Yes, truer words have been spoken, sometimes we have to work for freedom....and we need to remind everyone of what America is all about....even in the Socialist Republic of New York...
I was there, the one with the long black hair, and black fur coat, and you did more then 99% of Bush's supporters.
The girl all the way in the back behind the yellow anti-Gore sign chatting... You know me, my friend...
You did know that, right?
Cause it's true.
You are aware that all the "Sore-Loserman" signs, anti-Gore protest signs, and costumes in every Flor-i-DUH protest were us, were you also aware that not all the so called "Republican Operatives" were paid and some were us as well?
I think its worse than that. I think most Americans have a visceral dislike for protestors, regardless of their cause. I think thats especially true for anyone over 45 who has not so fond memories of anti-war, civil rights, anti-nuke, PETA, environmental whackos, and now anti-global anarchism. Traditionally, anyone out there protesting was one of them "commie troublemakers" that was assaulting their values. Most people still feel that way today.
Rightwingers get on the picket line, carry signs with swastikas crossed out (or other cute inside jokes), and yell at insults at their counterparts and you know who the media is going to focus on. Duh? Them crazy rightwingers. Now they are the troublemakers.
Beautifully put, OldFriend.....it's time we all banded together and were grateful we are not stuck with President Gore...
Oh, I'd rather not! (remember that Ohio was a RED state). We have good friends who have moved here from NY, and they contend that the libs have pretty much destroyed the state. I don't disagree.
We must not sit on our hands, yes Bush is doing a fabulous job turning the libs on themselves, but they have a powerful stronghold on all our big cities, we must change that because things always swing around, and the libs are fabulous at spin...
I really agree with you KLT. As discouraging as the media can be, the grassroots Conservative movement needs to be heard. The President shouldn't have to fight this fight alone.
As I replied to KLT, as discouraging as the liberal media and their incessant spin is, I completely agree that we Conservatives need to make our presence known. I would guess that everyone who shows up will not be expecting accurate coverage from the press.
That doesn't mean it shouldn't be done.
Excellent point........ like the President is doing by going directly to the people, and spending a lot of time outside the Beltway.
