In 1968 and 1969 the Chinesse I spoke with and visited with
(on liberty from my ship in the Navy)
in their homes in Hong Kong and Taiwan understood our culture.
One thing that sticks in my mind after all these years was what they said to me
"When the dragon awakens beware."
My concern that the gloabalists like Murdoch and Turner
will help them overcome any "lacking" of how to market to the USA sheeple.
Turner and Murdoch are only loyal to one thing=MONEY

PS In 1969 I saw "The Graduate" with Engish sub titles in a Hong Kong movie theater.

Hong Kong and Taiwan ain't China. They've been more Westernized.

The folks in charge of CCTV (the Chinese government) have NO idea how to sell their BS to America -- and, as I said, IMHO, they'll blow it. And I'd sure welcome that!
