Interesting. I would've believed that the complexes in Hempstead would be filled with illegal aliens and Section 8'ers. That site (and your comments) indicate otherwise.

So, do the crackhead rent single family houses with their Section 8 vouchers? Have they been chased out to Roosevelt or Uniondale?

The halfway decent apartment complexes are inhabited by a lot of single people, small families and college students. There are a few small projects located in one area by MLK blvd, real drug dealing and crack den, almost all black. On the other side by the bus terminal is MS13 territory almost all hispanic. There are more illegals than crackheads. The druggies get more goodies than single moms though. I like Hempstead Police for keeping the riffraff off my block. Uniondale is very nice still. Roosevelt is a different story. I have a theory about a place having too many chinese food restaurants and churches.
