Say what you will about the morality of the "Naked News" folks, but at least there's no pretense about what they're doing.

Sexy young weatherwomen on TWC? Where? I mean the women I've seen are all very professional, intelligent, and knowledgable. But I wouldn't, thankfully, call any of them pin-up material.

The Weather Channel should be able to hire and fire anybody they want to.
Sorry old lady.

Unless the job requires the weatherbabe to wear a skimpy bikini or thong, I don't think age should be a factor.

If she got her job because she was a hottie, how can she complain when she's fired for not being a hottie?

Not only are the temperatures plunging, but so are the necklines.

I don't recognize her name. I always thought it was nice that they kept right on reporting the weather right thru preganancies though. There was one, one time that looked like it was hard for her to even move and she kept rubbing her back. I was wondering if she was in labor. I didn't see her again for a couple of months. No one said anything but I thought it would have been cool to show us the baby that we waited on for 5-6 months:')

was really an excuse to get more young ...and blonder... female weathercasters on the air.

Does anyone have a picture of this lady they can post, I don't recognize the name? I have been watching the Weather Channel for a long, long time and wherever the wife and I stopped in our travels, the weather channel not only kept us informed of weather conditions, but all those familiar faces, was like a touch of home.

The weather channel is a business that sells advertisements and that provides a product to the public to sell those advertisements.
While the product is information about the weather, those presenting it don't really need to be that skilled of meteorologists. They're in the entertainment business. The need to present the information in an appealing way, and part of that appealing presentation is their appearance.
She may very well be an extremely talented meteorologist. That doesn't make her more qualified for the job than some young lass with a winning smile, that is knowledgeable enough to present the information well, and does so in a pleasing manner.
Television is a visual entertainment business. Appearance is an important part of the job. Even if what she says is true, I don't think the Weather Channel did anything wrong.

Your Weatherinfobabe has to be young and hot-looking. (pun intended)
