I doube if Saddam can be proven guilty of genocide, unless a lot of his subordinates turn on him. But there are so many charges that can be brought, not just one or two instances.
It would be about as pointless as making the same claim for Slobo. One count of genocide, if it is as well researched as Srebrenica has been, is more than enough.
Saddams case is easy to try and convict. His Army under his direct authority under territory under his control openly killed innocent civilians.
