No, that wasn't the spirit knocking. That was you, self-righteously asking me whether I cared more about God or cigarettes, after having made the riDICulous statement that cigarettes have replaced God to smokers.

Smokers put their cigarettes ahead of virtually everything. They put them ahead of their health, they put them ahead of their savings, they put them ahead of the effects on their own children. Yes, smokers definately place smoking ahead of God.

I know plenty of smokers who put down the smoke to attended church, bible study, evening services.

I would say they are putting God before the cigarette.

You are making broad unsupported statements about the priorities of others as you see them and as you don't. This is not your mandate from God. I would be very careful before I started judging the hearts of Christians, be very certain you exceed the standard before you condemn.

I will grant the fact that smoking can be a speck, but the log rolling through this issue deserves a little more attention.
