Thank you for your ping. Even though I have read about this before, this new article is giving me encouragement to write more letters. We must work to get the laws changed so that it is a crime to remove the feeding tubes from people in so-called vegetative states.
What I hate is the way some in the media want to make it sound like everyone will stay alive indefinitely on feeding tubes. They forget that people who refuse other types of medical intervention will likely die of heart, lung, kidney, or some other major organ failure.
If Terri doesn't get euthanized by Michael first, she will probably eventually die from some type of organ failure when her real time comes.
