Go up to the Maritimes in Canukistan, they eat tons of salt, smoke and chew, drink, there is better Shine in PEI than the ridge runners make down here, had both. Don't tell me about grease, mandatory, bacon fat for breakfast poured over everything, that was my mothers family diet before they went south, most lived to their 80's, 90's, and an occasional 100.

Now that the Canukistanian side started voting Liberal they mostly make 80 if they are lucky.

I read that China has low lung cancer rates because they air-dry tobacco, rather than "sugar-cure." It stated further that UK lung cancer rates are higher than the US because of a higher amount of sugar used.

I intend to smoke 'til I croak.

The one way you can challange these numbers is by remembering that they usually only represent the tiniest fraction of the population. When you first see these numbers they probably appear to be overwelming. However, on closer examination, being compared to overall population, they barely register. In other words; these numbers mean absoultely nothing. They are usually junk.

Noticed the same thing a years back about children being abducted. Don't recall the claimed stats, but it worked out to be that the entire population of the United States would have been abducted in about 10 years...

my grandmother smoker from the 1940's thru to the early 1980's. Eventully liver failure got her two years ago. I wonder if they'd consider that a 'smoking related death.'

I saw an ad on tv last night from truth.com and it said that very 8 seconds someone dies from smoking related diseases.

One of their recent ads are telling people that that same amount of people are dying from SECOND HAND SMOKE! Now, if we are losing all these people every day, how many people do we have left? 60?
