didn't know there were so many who listened to current acts (not "nu" metal, either) ... the stuff u haveta buy on the internet :)

Check out Frost Like Ashes... one of my favorite new bands. I got my copy on Amazon, I think they're still there. You have to get past the horrorshow crap, but they're pretty freakin' brutal.

Well, at least they put Jason Becker on the list. The kid was amazing. I'm NOT talking about any of the crap he did with Roth.

He he. Good luck with your plans. We absolutely love Spain. I think we'll be back in a year or two if all goes well.

How about an honorable mention for James Honeyman Scott

You got it. ...Very unique sound and style, and played with a lot of soul.

Thanks Landru.

I am most fortunate both by the nature of my illness and the timely resolution.

Indeed, she has been a real trooper and not an utterance of complaint. I doubt I could say the same about myself were the roles reversed.

Thanks.

My wife loathes ranchero music..lol....whenever I put on some ranchero or cumbia, she thinks I've gone all odd and nostalgic reliving some old South American dusty adventure again 25 years later.

I always liked the Texas Tornados and Doug Sahm and Flaco and Freddy etc....it's an acquired taste I guess.

Were did Norte Mexicanos acquire the love of the accordion? Is it an Old Country leftover?
