God stated that homosexuality is an abominiation - literally that it makes him want to puke. He said the same about eating shrimp.

Are you equating eating shrimp with being a homosexual? I know when I eat shrimp and drink beer I do some strange things.

He said the same about eating shrimp. God set down dietary laws in the Law.
Jesus fulfilled the Law and thus, did away with the provisions of the Law (dietary restrictions, animal sacrifice, a human high priest, etc).
The dietary and sacrificial prescriptions of the Law are specifically removed in the New Testament books of Acts, Galatians, and Hebrews.
The New Testament continues to call homosexual relations a sin and an abomination.

He also says that about getting college degrees and promotions and raises and wealth but not quite as specifically.

He said the same about eating shrimp. The original Hebrew uses two completely different words for eating shrimp and homosexual behavior.

"God stated that homosexuality is an abominiation - literally that it makes him want to puke. "
Well, homosexuality makes me want to puke, even if it wasn't in the Bible.
So what do the Pro-Gays think? Do they think if they twist the meanings of Bible verses pertaining to homosexuality enough, that everyone will say it's ok? Or, are they just trying to relieve that inner guilt for being perverted?
If most liberals think the Constitution is a "living document", to be re-interpreted at the drop of a hat, then why shouldn't they also think the Bible is a "living document"? They wouldn't even be reading it, except that they want to try and convince everyone that it's "OK to be Gay".
If I want the Bible interpreted, I'll call a true, Bible scholar who has no ulterior motives, or I'll just rely on my own upbringing and religious beliefs.

He said the same about eating shrimpEating shrimp in the desert before refrigeration was a very poor idea. A good way to get sick. Perhaps there's a clue there in terms of HIV and all those other STD's.
