It's well known that Klinton spent more prosecuting Bill Gates than he did terrorism.
But, according to Mr. Clarke, Klinton was more focused on fighting terrorism than was Bush prior to 9/11.
Clarke is a lying pus-bag.

Okay, Let me see if I've got this straight.
1. Clarke, under oath on Wednesday says that the Bush administration knew and didn't act on information.
2. Clarke, presumably under oath, tells the Committee behind closed doors that Bush knew and acted on information.
3. Clarke, under the protection of "background information", tells reporters that Bush in 8 months exceeded what Clinton accomplished in 8 years in the fight against terrorism.
4. Clarke, under contract to his publisher and thereby CBS, and thereby 60 Minutes, and thereby Leslie Stahl and thereby the DNC, tells all of the above anything they want to hear.

But it wasn't just talk. With Clinton at the helm, the enemy was pounded, hunted down, day-in-and-day-out, relentlessly. The enemy had no place to hide. Showing unflinching resolve, Clinton did everything in Monica's power to break up, dismantle, and hopefully bankrupt this horrible enemy: Microsoft. (Sadly, software outlaw Bill Gates was never captured, despite the worldwide manhunt. Today, Microsoft -- reconstituted, reinvigorated -- is stronger than ever, thanks to Bush, a soft-on-Microsoft weenie ... LOL !
Good one, John ! Outta the park ... again !

The Cross Speaks
Read: Acts 2:22-39
Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and . . . rose again the third day. 1 Corinthians 15:3-4
Bible In One Year: Joshua 19-21; Luke 2:25-52
Crosses decorate church steeples and designate burial places. Sometimes they mark the spot where people died in highway accidents. And they are often worn as jewelry.
Crosses remind people of Jesus Christ. I was made aware of this when a businessman, seeing a small gold cross on the lapel of my jacket, asked me, "Why are you a believer in Christ?" I was glad for the opportunity to share my faith with him.
Jesus died on the cross for us, but we don't worship a dead Savior. Our Lord's body was taken down from the cross and placed in a tomb, and then on the third day He emerged in a glorified body.
The cross speaks to us of the total pictureour Lord's atoning death to pay the price for our sins, as well as His glorious resurrection to deliver us from the power of death.
If it were not for what Christ did on the cross, we would all stand guilty before God and hopeless in the face of death. But through faith in Him, we receive the forgiveness of all our sins and the assurance that death cannot hold us.
Have you looked at the cross and placed your trust in the One who died there? It's the only sure and perfect remedy for guilt and fear. Herb Vander Lugt
The cross upon which Jesus died
Is a shelter in which we can hide;
And its grace so free is sufficient for me,
And deep is its fountainas wide as the sea. Stanphill

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Below are names of some of our FReepers' loved ones who are serving our country. If you have someone you would like to add, please address a post to Billie; Mama_Bear; Dansangel; Dutchess or Aquamarine and we will add their name to this list. As we pray for them, we pray also for all our nations leaders, and military personnel, and their families and friends. May God hold them close to His heart.
~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~
We ask Lord, that You guide the leaders of our great country in their hour of decision. The burden that has been placed on their shoulders is overwhelming. We ask that with Your infinite wisdom You guide them gently to the right decisions.
Please give us the strength, Lord, to get through each difficult and devastating day that faces each of us and our country. Protect and guide our Military that are now being called to duty, strengthen them in their trials and temptations; give them courage to face the perils which beset them; and grant them a sense of your abiding presence wherever they may be; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Clarke says his *going public* has nothing to do with being passed over for a promotion or being a bitter and disgruntled former employee; he has no ax to grind, no hard feelings for not being promoted despite having done such great things about terrorism; and going public has nothing to with Election-Year politics, his Kerry campaign connections or book promotion -- really! (Yes, and Andy Rooney loves Mel Gibson movies with a Passion).Yep.....Hey Clarke, I've got a prime piece of ocean-front proprty in Arizona that I can sell you, schmuck!
(((((JH2)))))) - thank you for allowing me a few grins when the mere act of turning on FoxNews at night to review the "testimony" makes my blood boil. And we're supposed to believe this has nothing at all to do with an election year? My momma didn't raise no stupid kids!

Excellent presentation dutchess !
I understand that his book and his comments contradict each other ....
There are a couple things going on here that disturb me greatly.
The press just loves this idiot and every other idiot that comes out bashing Bush.
They are undermining our National Security, for what ? What drives them ?
This is what happens when people are driven by
pure hate..
I can only wonder what would have happened if these idiots were to speak out during WW11,
would the people of this Country have tolerated it ? or would there be screams of aiding the enemy ?
When we kill osama will cnn describe him as the old, sickly spiritual leader of the religous muslims ? After all, they are a religion of peace....
I am afraid that this country and it's politics have boiled down to a battle between Good and Evil..
The demonrats most important issues are homo marriages, the complete removal of the existance of God in our society, the choice to kill the unborn, diversity, the acceptance of all things immoral, and of course the continued issues of healthcare, social security, education and rights for the minority...
Issues that have been out there for 40 years, the whole time they were in power and never did anything about but continue to carry the issues and blame the Right for not doing anything about....
The only way to get involved in a dispute with any country is to involve the un and persue diplomacy while the attacks continue to kill the innocent. While the corrupt (which is most of em) make money off of things like the food for oil program
When will this insanity stop, is it time for another bloody revolution ? Count me in, when I joined the Army I swore to Protect and Defend the Constitution against
all enemies.... as far as I'm concerned that oath never expires ! Sad how our politicans don't even know or care about The Foundation of Our Country..
The day that God is removed from our Country is the day that God will remove his Blessings from it, I am afraid that day is coming sooner, not later.
I only Pray the the Second coming of Christ is soon, I long for Love and Grace to return !
God Bless America !

Well said!
The thing that disgusts me the most about Clarke is that despicable man was supposed to be working to protect all of us, the American taxpayers all these years. How many more of them are there like that in our nations Capitol? Perish the thought.
