Don't let him scare you away.
I'll beat him for you if you want.

"The Mourning Dove mourns my love,
for my love has gone away.
Loneliness unfurled,
I've colored my world in hues of blue & gray.
Silenced cries, despairing sighs,
I long for a brighter day..."


I like the poem the way it is, but
I tend to write longer poems, so it
looks unfinished to me. The problem
is I can't think of any satisfactory
rhymes to continue it with.
