Well I'm glad you are home and okay now. ;)

What a bizarre story. I had never heard of this.
By the way, I'll be leaving tomorrow for an annual conference in Hawaii. See you again on the 21st.

Yep, it's sure a strange story. Something tells me it's not well known outside of Utah and Arkansas.

Yeah, it's a tough job, but somebody's gotta do it ;-)
Seriously, if it's like last years conference, we'll be plenty busy during the week. But I will have this weekend and next Saturday for myself before I fly back on Sunday. I haven't been to Hawaii since 1995 when we were taking SAN BERNARDINO back to San Diego for decommissioning. We had 6 whole days of max liberty. THAT was a good port visit.

I read "The Seventh Secret" and "The R Document" by Wallace.
"The R Document" was pretty good. Don't remember the Seventh Secret much.

I just happened to be right here on that terrible day.
I just got back from a memorial service in St Paul. It rained here today..somehow that seems fitting.

SAM and Snippy, I don't have a military ping list but I thought posting here might be the next best thing.
Here's a post that may be beneficial to vets. The National Archives now has an electronic request form that can be used by veterans or their survivors to access their military records.
