For three years during one of my assignments, I reviewed every non-aircraft related death report from the entire USAF. I only remember a couple of FDIB's. One turned out to be carbon monoxide and the other drugs.

Upon further reflection, Heat Stroke could be the culprit. Soldier works all night, then goes back to his tent to sleep during the day. No air conditioning, ambient temperature of 120-130 and his body temperature rises precipitously causing coma and death.

Roger that! If we didn't learn from 'Nam that "policing" is another PC excercise in futility then what did we learn? The military analyst (talking heads) have been saying we're in transition to special ops handling more raids and counter strikes. Don't know the status but something needs to change as these daily reports are like a slow bleed.
