Serving Those Who ServedVA Stars & Stripes Healthcare Network Mission: VA Stars & Stripes Healthcare Network is part of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. We provide health care and social services to veterans, who have earned and are eligible for those services. There are more than 1.5 million veterans in our service area. This area includes Pennsylvania, Delaware, and several counties in West Virginia, Ohio, New Jersey, and New York. Last year we served over 265,000 patients. Health Care Facilities: Our Network includes 10 medical centers located in: Our goal is to provide care as close to veterans homes as possible. We offer services in nearly 40 community-based clinics. Through our "Families Matter" program, we are also committed to involving the family in the veteran's care, whenever appropriate.

Patient Co-payments and Insurance: Depending on eligibility level, a veteran may be responsible for making co-payments for care and medications. It is important that patients let us know about any insurance they have. The money collected from your insurance helps us provide more and better services to our veterans.
