Hi, Feather! Myself, Mrs. Cut and the future Mini-Cut are doing great! I like your collection of patches, as well. Especially the "Instructor" one...it's identical to the one I wear each day!.

I've been "under the RADAR" lately...computer was hard down. We just got it fixed after a two-week period of teeth-gnashing and bad language on my part.

Thanks much. Oh, you have a new patch to add to the collage...That of Patrol Squadron Ten, out of Brunswick, Maine. I was recently "Ord-Modded" (order modification...ask a vet) to them instead of Twenty-six. PATRON 10's name is the "RED LANCERS". Such is the way of military orders during wartime.

Anyway, here's their patch...

The only bad thing is, I will be joining them on deployment instead of beforehand. Thus, I will be leaving the States six months early, in August.

Hey Long Cut! Long time no see!! When is Mini-Cut due to make his/her appearance as a new FReeper? How's Mrs Cut doing?

Oh, I'll check in from time to time, and I'll be sure to say goodbye when I do depart. What with Mini-Cut's imminent arrival (July is the forecast) I suspect I'll be quite busy around that time. I wish I didn't have to say "goodbye" to the little tyke so soon, though.

Hi, Jen! Mrs. Cut is doing VERY well...at 7 mos. now, she's gained a grand total of 10 pounds, about four of which is baby (so far). She was painting the porch this past weekend.

Not my fault!!! Mainers can be stubborn.

At least until February. Then, I'll still be officially stationed in Maine, whilst Mrs. Cut keeps the fires burning here in Florida. I'll see her and Mini as often as is humanly possible. I'll probably deploy at least once more after another year, and will complete that assignment in three.

Oh, I forgot to mention...I re-enlisted on Friday. Signed on for another three-year hitch.

This fall (October, to be precise) marks my tenth year in the Navy.
