Not sure. I learned it from a tape by the 97th String Band. I love to sing, it really adds a dimension to the song to "see" it during a reenactment. I really have seen the "Watchfires of a hundred circling camps." And have watch the "burnished rows of steel" march by. A few years back, while at the reenactment of Horse Landing, just outside Palatka Fl. I found myself smack in the middle of the second verse of "All Quiet Along the Potomac." It raises the hair on the back of your neck. Now that I've wandered off into the woods, back to the original question. Much as I love to sing, I can't sight read music to save my life. The only way I can learn a song is to "borrow" the tune from someone else. The 97th, and Bobby Horton are my favorite victims. Try Mudcat.org they have the words to bout everything, and the music to most of it.
