Read Three Roads to the Alamo by William C Davis. A biography of three of the Alamo's best known defenders and a fantastic account of the seige itself.

That was the opinion of some of the people on the program. I think they did a good job of presenting different opinions. They also said that, like so much history, you never know for sure. You just collect evidence that suggests something is true or not. It's never conclusive. Interesting stuff.
