Thanks for the Afghanistan pix. What spec-ops, including the Rangers, achieved in the Afghan campaign was truly remarkable, saving many lives that would have been lost in line units fighting a conventional campaign. I'm sure the Rangers will also make a special contribution in the upcoming Iraq campaign.
I'm still angry about what the Clinton-era DOD did to the Rangers in Mogadishu, dropping them in the middle of indian country with no plan or means of immediate U.S. armor and air support in the event of trouble.
