Greetings SAMWolf, AntiJen, Foxhole FReepers, et al:
Thanks for featuring a few of Americans female defenders of freedom. In my Desert Storm deployed unit, our sisters bearing arms were highly qualified and mission essential.
Its a shame one particular over achiever cannot yet be recognized. Shes a fellow battle-rostered Desert Storm plankowner and a SNCO service academy classmate of mine. This real life "GI Jane," was fully qualified for every mission specialty of our unit. Following Desert Storm, our "GI Jane" continued to influence, enhance, and improve upon this multi-faceted units methods, as she rose through the enlisted ranks.
Ten years after Desert Storm, our modern "minutegal, GI Jane," returned to duty. In those troubling days after the horrific 9-11 attack, "GI Jane's" wisdom played a key homeland security coordination role for Operation Noble Eagle.
It would be really cool to post some photos of "GI Jane" in action, but we cant even post "GI Jane" in ghatra and throbe. Those of us who know "her-story," know who this "GI Jane" is. Our real "GI Jane" is no fictional Demi Moore Hollywood character, just an ordinary citizen-soldier, who lives with honor, respect, and a devotion to duty.

Thanks for honoring her here, OneLoyalAmerican. We appreciate her service even if she has to remain "GI Jane Doe".
