Hey Larry! Wonderful to see you. How is your wife? How are the kids? Are you staying warm? When are you coming to Florida to meet us? ((((hugs)))) Send spring soon.

Which little bird said nice things about me?
(And the question is why most people don't say nice things about me around where I live. 'Course, small towns, small minds. I'm an outsider...)
Make sure the little bird gets a pat on the head in appreciation.

1943 Battle of Stalingrad ends with final surrender of the German army, turning point of WWIIA lot of the Germans taken prisoner never returned after the war, I believe some of the last ones were released by the Soviets in the early 60's.

I had the M-14 and we switched to the M-16 towards the end of my first tour. I prefered the M-14 better.

Evening Darksheare. Don't forget the little creamer packs from the C-rats, always good for a quick sweet treat.

Glad to hear you're cured, LOL.
Your typing is just fine, Spooky. Don't worry about it.
To: SAMWolf
Yup, and the peanut butter packets from newer MRE's.
Always good for a quick snack while on the run.

Best part of the MRE's was they included tabasco sauce and real candy!

Fantastic pictures! Thank you for your service, sir!

Awesome David. Great pictures. Thank you for your dedicated service. I'm proud to know you. How is homeschooling going?
To: SAMWolf
I always opted for the sweets.
They were more useful for advanced party operations.
The tabasco sauce was useful for annoying the sarge.
The newest ones that are kosher are actually pretty goood.
They even come with peanuts and a tea bag. (Good Earth Black Tea. Actually pretty good tea. Someone thought of forking out some dollars..))

Ahhhhh....got my computer back. Jo is always taking it from me to play "zoo tycoon". Heard you've been sick with the flu. Are you better? Are you drinking your fluids?
To: davidosborne
Thanks for serving.
But I must also apologise here for picking on the MP's at Fort Sill, good sports as they were.
Being that I was going through basic training there at the time...

A very interesting shuttle tile is
Here.
I can only post on Geocities and have little bandwidth to post, so perhaps someone can post it for me.
I inverted the photo on my computer and the writing reads:
V070-1911
-076 (or G) MN00
With these numbers, the tile should be traced to its exact location. It came from Kerens, Texas, 65 miles SE of Dallas and another tile is in Rice, Texas, 45 miles S of Dallas on I-45. If these tile came from under the left wing, that would place its failure at the top of the debris field.

I liked the beef meals and the au grautin potatoes. The scrambled eggs were good too. The dehydrated beef patty was worse than any C-rat I ever had.

Good to see you too old buddy. Not that your old, you're just an old friend. LOL I'm doing ok. Hanging in there. Thanks for the thread about the MP's. They were always too strict for my taste. That's good though, eh? That means they are doing their job. :)
