Hey Jen .. it has taken me some time to gather what I know so far. And there are still many pieces still missing which I hope to find out soon ..

My dad passed away when I was young and I only knew that he was part of the 69th Division of the Army

Recenty with some help from a very nice gentlemen, we seem to think that dad was a Platoon Sergeant from Company K, Third Battalion, 271st Infantry Regiment of the 69th Infantry Division

Like I said there is still more I am trying to research, but it's nice to finally be able to piece it all together after all these years of wondering

Mom always said dad didn't like talking about his time during the war and she once caught him throwing out his pictures. She took them out of the trash and saved them .. thank goodness
