TOPICS: VetsCoR
KEYWORDS: cell; cellphone; cellphonerecorder
Found one (Cherinbo call recorder) that has worked fine for mos until Android/Google update last night... & now Google apparently stipulates only my side be clear. Hmmm?? Just what I need, Google controlling more of my life !! Grrrrr. Anybody found something that works reliably for Android ??

I think it is illegal to drive in Alaska wearing headphones. He could bluetooth it to his car radio for hands-free driving. That's what I do.

There’s only 15 miles of road in Sitka so not a big deal.

Lived in Sitka 4 a yr back b4 they shut down the pulp mill. One of the most beautiful spots ever, b4 the Libs drove the decent paying jobs outta town & turned it artsy-fartsy.

Absolutely beautiful place and also the town pranked with the best April fools joke in history.
Mount Edgecumbe Erupts - April Fools' 1974
"
April 1st, 1974
Residents of Sitka, Alaska were alarmed when the long-dormant volcano neighboring them, Mount Edgecumbe, suddenly began to belch out billows of black smoke. People spilled out of their homes onto the streets to gaze up at the volcano, terrified that it was active again and might soon erupt. Luckily it turned out that man, not nature, was responsible for the smoke. A local practical joker named Porky Bickar had flown hundreds of old tires into the volcano's crater and then lit them on fire, all in a (successful) attempt to fool the city dwellers into believing that the volcano was stirring to life. According to local legend, when Mount St. Helens erupted six years later, a Sitka resident wrote to Bickar to tell him, "This time you've gone too far!" Read the rest of the story below."
