I was required to hit a man sized target at 600 yards using a rack grade A-1 model using only iron sights and military issues ammunition.

I think a lot of folks forget that.

You're correct...it's the shooter, not the weapon.

It sure did. But the USMC knows how to teach marksmanship. That’s for sure.
