All very cool... but I thought you could wear your Eagle Scout award on your uniform? Is it a medal like these, or the actual badge?

Nope. It only garners you 500 points extra when you open a candidates packet for one of the Military Academies or and auto E-3 upon graduation from basic.

No, he threw the away ribbons but KEPT the medals.
Or was it the other way around?
