The 2005 membership contest will run from Memorial Day (May 30, 2005) thru Labor Day (September 5, 2005). The winner of the contest will be the member in good standing who brings in the most new members during the contest period.
First prize in the contest will be the Eagle/Flag Statuette pictured below and a Certificate of Appreciation. Second prize will be a Portraits of Freedom t-shirt (when available) and a Certificate of Appreciation. Third prize will be a Certificate of Appreciation.
Rules:
1. Contest is open to all voting members in good standing (as defined by the Bylaws of the organization.)
2. New members must be fully qualified to become voting members. Proof of qualification MUST accompany the membership application. Proof of qualification includes:
3. Name of sponsoring member must be on the application for membership of the prospective member.
4. For the purpose of this contest, new prospective members will NOT be credited to the sponsoring member untill the prospective member has become a member in good standing according to the Bylaws of the organization.
5. New members who join during the contest period can also enter the contest, after becoming members in good standing according to the Bylaws.
When you make a copy of your DD214 to send in with your application for membership, cover the SSN with a piece of whiteout tape BEFORE you copy it .... or if you have a scanner, you can scan it into your 'puter and remove the SSN in a graphics program, then print it out .... Bingo ... SSN is gone from the copy you send to this HQ .... :)
Hope that eagle flag statue ain't made in China.
