There's something now called 'killflash', it's a honeycomb thing that fits over the end of the binocs and scopes.
I seem to recall Gen Dayan testing the stuff out as well.

Hey Sweets! Thanks for answering Darkshear's question . . . didn't know that's how Dayan lost the eye. What little I know about him, but if Sam is of the HO that he was one of Israel's best, that's good enough for me.
